Host A Corporate Scholar In Summer 2018

The ACC NCR Corporate Scholars Program is seeking legal departments to host a Scholar in the summer of 2018. Since 2004, the Scholars Program has successfully placed more than 100 students from law schools in our region in companies and non-profits, providing them with exposure to in-house practice. (And some of those students were hired directly in-house as a result of their summer experiences!) Would you like to help shape the next generation of in-house lawyers? Read more about the Program by downloading our FAQs for Hosts and visiting the host application website at http://www.cvent.com/d/xtqcyj. Host applications are due by February 14.

Fond Farewell

Many thanks and our very best wishes to Jean Schlesinger who will be leaving her  ACC NCR position at the end of February. As Director for Initiatives, Jean has worked tirelessly with our volunteer leaders over the last 18 months to launch the Leadership Academy. We are extraordinarily proud of this best-in-class program and appreciative of the work and dedication that went into making this program a reality. Over the last year, Jean has also worked on community service and pro brono opportunities for members, and on the ACC NCR Corporate Scholars Program. Please join us in wishing Jean all the best in her next endeavors.
