Question of the Month
Like many companies, my company is faced with making reductions in force (“RIFs”) as the global recession continues. I am responsible for managing such RIFs in Europe, and the country managers have mentioned the need to consult with “works councils.” Does ACC have any resources to help me understand what works councils are and what role they may play in the process of eliminating positions in the European Union (“EU”)?
