2009 European Counsel Awards Shortlist
In association with ACC, the International Law Office has announced the shortlist for the 2009 European Counsel Awards to be held in London. ACC and Corporate Signatories Protest FAS 5
ACC, joined by 135 chief legal officers and executives of leading companies, released a letter on March 6 protesting amendments being considered by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), which would change disclosure rules on litigation loss contingencies. FASB held roundtable sessions that day – ACC was invited to participate - to discuss the proposals. ACC was represented at the session by Alex Dimitrief, the Chief Litigation Counsel to General Electric. For details check the ACC in the News.
