As an employment counsel for my company, I have been asked to provide appropriate steps to take to obtain a visa for an employee to come to the states for 18-24 months.  Does ACC have any resources to help me?

2009 European Counsel Awards Shortlist
In association with ACC, the International Law Office has announced the shortlist  for the 2009 European Counsel Awards to be held in London.  ACC Europe President James Bellerjeau will present the awards at a gala dinner on Thursday, March 26.  For a full listing of the shortlist , visit the European Counsel Awards Web site.

ACC and Corporate Signatories Protest FAS 5
ACC, joined by 135 chief legal officers and executives of leading companies, released a letter on March 6 protesting amendments being considered by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), which would change disclosure rules on litigation loss contingencies.  FASB held roundtable sessions that day – ACC was invited to participate -  to discuss the proposals.
