Resources
Small Law Department Compensation Data Now Available
More than 300 companies with small in-house departments (those with one to ten attorneys/under $1 billion in revenue), participated in the latest ACC Empsight Small Law Department Compensation Survey, which found that a general counsel’s pay structure changes dramatically depending on the number of staff and that GCs responsible for managing five or more attorneys make 75% more in base pay over solo practitioners.  The cost of the report is $300 for participants and $475 for non-participants (a survey for larger law departments is also available). Visit www.accempsight.com to purchase or for more information.
