ACC ENERGY COMMITTEE: PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE
The stated purpose of the ACC Energy Committee is to promote the objectives of the Association of Corporate Counsel within the field of international energy law, provide a forum for exchange of information and ideas relating to corporate international energy law among in-house attorneys, serve as an educational resource to promote awareness of corporate energy international law among in-house energy attorneys, and to combine the experience and expertise of its members to benefit the international energy legal environment.

The Energy Committee will hold its Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, October 18 at 7:30 a.m. ET, during ACC's 2005 Annual Meeting in Washington DC. The primary focus of this meeting will be to establish a leader succession plan and committee goals that will sustain the committee over the next few years. Agenda items will include committee membership recruitment, review of the committee mission statement, topics for resource development, schedule for regular committee teleconferences, and committee sponsorship. This gathering of corporate practitioners also provides an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues with similar interest and challenges. The success of this committee depends on member participation so please plan to attend
