THE ANSWER IS ACC COMMITTEES
Did you ever wonder who develops the superb materials found in ACC's Virtual Library? And those stellar webcasts and annual meeting programs, who chooses the topics, the speakers and coordinates the entire effort? The answer is ACC Committees. To recognize the outstanding contributions and achievements of these committees and their members, ACC will present the Committee of the Year, and the Committee Member of the Year awards at the 2004 Annual Meeting. Nominate your choice for the 2004 ACC Committee of the Year Award and the 2004 ACC Committee Member of the Year Award. Names of the awardees will also appear in the October issue of the ACC Docket. Any ACC member can nominate their choice for these awards using 2004 ACC Committee Award Nomination forms. Contact Jacqueline Windley for more information concerning these awards and ACC Committees .
PORTABLE PROGRAMS: COMMITTEES AND CHAPTERS WORKING TOGETHER
ACC has taken the most popular programs from the 2003 Annual Meeting and updated them for presentation locally by ACC Chapters. These "portable programs" will help chapters bring timely, well-prepared material to members locally. They're also a great way for Chapters and Committees to work together. If your chapter is interested in portable programs, contact Jacqueline Windley.
NEW TO INHOUSE
ACC Committees Want You
At one time or another all ACC members were new to in-house practice, and those who have come before know how overwhelming any given day can be in the life of a "newbie." To help, some ACC committees have presented webcasts to provide answers to those age-old questions, as well as information on new trends they have found to be invaluable. Other ACC committees are developing similar programs and would welcome information from you as to what topics or information would be most beneficial as you begin your in-house career. New to In-house members are needed as liaisons to ACC committees to ensure that other committee programs provide the information you seek. And for quick answers to questions regarding specific practice areas, look no farther than ACC's committee listservs. As a listserv subscriber you can post queries that go directly to colleagues who have subscribed to listservs, and wait for the response that will come to you come directly to you. You can subscribe to listservs on each committee's webpage. Click here for more information about ACC committees and committee related resources go to, or contact Jacqueline Windley.
